  1. Leslie, just got introduced to your lovely website and blog. Would be pleased to make your acquaintance next time you’re visiting Italy. Perhaps I can show you a few new places. I’ll introduce myself through my website, http://www.ringmybell.it. While it’s still in it’s infancy, connecting to the wider world of travelers like you can only help it mature.
    Regards, Paolo

  2. Hi Leslie,

Thanks so much for following along this past week as we asked our Readers to help us pick photos for the Capture the Colour Photo Contest.

We truly love your wonderful blog and your gorgeous photography, so we wanted to invite you to join us in the fun quest. We are posting our final submission tomorrow (Saturday September 7) and you will see that we have nominated you to submit.

Please participate at whatever level you like. We just wanted you to know that we think your blog is a joy! 🙂

All the best, Terri and James

    • Thanks so much for thinking of Steve and I! We are very excited, and although we are by no means professional photographers, we’ve decided it would be fun to give it a try. We appreciate the nomination! 🙂

      • That’s great news. We think you guys take awesome photos, plus the contest is just plain fun and a good way to get your names and blogs out there. Have a great trip and we’ll see you in India. ~Terri

  3. Following your amusing and insightful tales.. love the chicness! (My former life was spent in the world of fashion – I can relate to the importance of the right pair of pants for travels – Lululemon pants are right next to my stack of silk sarongs)
If you can be persuaded to travel to Bali (on the less traveled path) please drop a line. I know.. more tropical terrors for you… we are surrounded by rice paddies, jungle and mountains… complete with frogs, but there is equal amounts of beauty and adventure to be enjoyed!

    Happy Travels.
