I didn’t anticipate the sharp spike in views my blog would receive after first appearing on HGTV’s House Hunters International last month. But if you’re reading this because you saw my fiancé Steve and I appear on the show again on Valentine’s Day, welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to Google us, and thanks again if you would please take the time to follow this blog.
As you saw on HHI, we chose the house with a big garden outside of town that is perfect as our new home base. We’re still travelers at heart, but we needed a place to put down roots and to use as our writing headquarters when we’re taking a break from gallivanting the world.
Casa Jardín has been a perfect sanctuary in which to bask in creativity, and we’ve been incredibly productive since we moved in. Below, links to Steve’s now published novel, my e-book series about how to become a freelance writer, and various other blog and website links you can view to find out more about us and our writing. (I’ve also included a link to our awesome real estate agent on the show, Daniel Ortiz, and to Leisurely Country Horseback Riding—a great way to spend the day in San Miguel.)
Steve’s debut novel I Have Lived Today is available on Amazon.
Steve’s author website is stevenmooreauthor.com and his travel blog is Twenty First Century Nomad.
My e-books about writing, The Coffee Date Guide to Freelance Journalism and The Coffee Date Guide to Travel Writing, are available on Amazon.
My website with various links to my published articles is lesliepatrick.com.
San Miguel de Allende Real Estate Agent, Daniel Ortiz.
Beth Kaestner will ensure you have a lovely day at Leisurely Country Horseback Riding.
If you want to read more about our travels and our life in San Miguel (including an upcoming behind the scenes post about filming our episode of House Hunters International!) please take a moment to follow me here at The Chic Adventurer. Thanks again and hope to see you again soon!
I’m watching now! Which will you choose?
We were inspired by your and Stevie’s story on HHI. We have an advertising/PR agency in San Antonio and San Miguel has always been a special place. We look forward to following your writing journey and hope to meet you all sometime in the future.
